Tim, I thought for sure you'd also take the opportunity to plug SRB's new Brewer's Blog (http://snakeriverbrewing.com/SRBBrewBlog/) in the process. Don't worry about it though, 'cause I just did.

Bottoms up!

Hey Chris,
Good insight and yes, I do know that you LOVE beer!!

Although we do have one true award-winning organic brew (OB-1 Organic Ale) at Snake River Brewing, all of our brewing practices fall within Certified Organic guidelines. All of our baked goods utilize organic flour too!!

Our Director of Brewing Operations, Chris Erickson is BIG on sustainability as you well know and keeps our operation in check with as many environmentally friendly practices as possible.

Hope to share a couple of OB-1's w/you soon!

Thanks Dave, I was thinking about New Belgium as I was writing this and thinking I should do something to cover them as well. This was timely so I wrote about it. (I also guiltily like Sierra Nevada's beer better.)

Next time. Thanks for reading!

Check out New Belgium's practices too (http://www.newbelgium.com/index.php). They buy wind power and have considerable recycling built into production. They're probably also closer than Sierra Nevada.
